Ready to experience Japan's most breathtaking cycling route? This two-day journey across the Shimanami Kaido takes you on an unforgettable ride from Onomichi to Imabari, island-hopping across the stunning Seto Inland Sea.

Picture this: you're pedaling across soaring bridges with panoramic ocean views, stopping at sleepy island villages where time moves a little slower, and discovering hidden gems along the way. We're talking art installations tucked into coastal towns, a lush lemon valley (yes, really!), fresh seafood lunches with sea breezes, and some of the most Instagram-worthy bridges you've ever seen.

This isn't your typical bike tour. You'll cycle at your own pace through charming Ikuchi Island, catch sunset views from the majestic Tatara Bridge, and stay overnight at the cozy Shimanami Kaido WAKKA. Day two? Even better – optional shrine visits, rose gardens in full bloom, local ice cream breaks, and that triumphant feeling when you conquer the Kurushima Strait crossing.

Whether you're a serious cyclist or just love a good adventure, the Shimanami Kaido delivers. With perfect rest stops, cultural touchpoints, and scenery that'll make you stop and stare (many times), this is Shikoku tourism at its absolute best.
