Your guide will meet you at the station to start the tour.

8:45 - 8:55 - Walk to Ferry Port
Short walk to the port. Your guide will purchase the high-speed boat tickets.

9:07 - 9:57 - Ferry to Teshima
Take the high-speed boat across the Seto Inland Sea to Teshima island. Enjoy views of the water and surrounding islands during the 50-minute ride.
Note: Ferry schedules change daily - timing will be confirmed when you book.

10:00 - 12:30 - Morning Art Tour by Bicycle
Pick up your rental bicycle and start exploring. The morning includes visits to:

  • Teshima Art Museum - A unique museum building designed by architect Ryue Nishizawa. Inside, you'll see artist Rei Naito's installation in a concrete shell structure with openings to the sky. Water droplets form and move across the floor naturally.
  • Les Archives du Cœur - An art project by Christian Boltanski featuring recordings of heartbeats from people around the world. You can listen to the heartbeats in a dark room with lightbulbs.

15:30 - 17:00 - Outdoor Art Installations Near Port
Cycle around the port area to see outdoor sculptures and installations. Your guide will show you the artworks and explain the artists' concepts. Free time to take photos.
